At all of the grade levels, we promote the PYP (Primary Years Programme)
positive attitudes, especially; cooperation, commitment, responsibility,
enthusiasm, appreciation and empathy. • Minor games - basketball, volleyball, rounders (softball), soccer and rugby. • Fitness testing - basic fitness testing and generally encouraging all students to improve their level of fitness and increase stamina. • Racket/sticking skills - badminton. • Athletics - running and throwing. • Team Sports - basketball, soccer and hockey. • Gymnastics - basic movement and coordination skills, rolling, jumping and balancing. • Swimming - basic water confidence and skills. Further develop basic stroke technique in breaststroke, freestyle and backstroke. |
