Description
A basic course in computer science. This course focuses more on the inner workings of computers. Algorithms, operating systems, hardware, software and projects that require application of pseudo code and planning are covered. Students will create a number of MYP projects based on the design cycle. In the second year, students must create a major project that follows the IGCSE criteria, which is 25% of the final examination grade.

Assessment
This course is a credit course and assessed externally by the University of Cambridge (UK) at the end of grade 10 (for IGCSE certification). Certain assessment tasks are also externally moderated for IB MYP certification.
