'My Personal Documents' Folder
This is where you put all of your documents. You can access this from anywhere on the school network. It is recommended that you store most of you files here as then you can benefit from centralized backup and roaming access to you files.

'My Public Documents' Folder

This is were you store documents you want all others to be able to access. This will be visible under your name in the Public folder.

'My Web Documents' Folder

This is where you put all of your website documents (see Picture 2 above). The html file that you have created must be named 'index', otherwise your page will not work. To view your homepage, open your Internet browser or type in the address the http://www.ofs.edu.s/user/your_username. For example, http://www.ofs.edu.sg/user/webmaster.

'Pictures' Folder
This is where you put all of your photos. To view your photo gallery online, just type in the address the http://my.ofs.edu.sg/photos/your_username For example, http://my.ofs.edu.sg/photos/webmaster.

'Public' Folder
This folder contains an index of staff members within the school and allows you to access their public files. Note: Files placed in 'My public Documents' folder are still secure from modification (only a user who is logged in may create /modify/delete files in public folder) but others can copy the files.

Group Folders
If you belong to a group a shared or 'group' folders will appear on your and other group members' desktops. If for instance you are a member of the 'IT Development' or 'Printcenter' group (see Picture 1). Two folders called 'IT Development' & 'Princenter' will appear in your user folder. Documents in a group folder can be created, modified, or deleted by anyone who is a member of that group. Please note: Each user gets their own customized desktop which contains group folders for groups which they are subscribed to.
