Dear Parents

My name is Penny Askin and I am very pleased to be your child's teacher this year.  I am from Wellington, New Zealand, and I have been teaching for 8 years. 

This will be my third year teaching Grade 2 at Overseas Family School.  I thoroughly enjoy teaching here and I am looking forward to another exciting year with new Grade 2 students.  We cover some wonderful units in Grade 2, and I really enjoy working alongside and getting to know all my students parents through the field trips and in class learning.

In my spare time I enjoy playing a variety of sports and I have a passion for travelling and exploring new countries.   I am very much looking forward to meeting and getting to know you all soon.
