Dear Parents,

I am pleased to welcome you and your children to Grade 2 at OFS.  This is my second year in Singapore.  Previously, I taught Grade 3 in Florida, USA for 6 years.   Originally I was born in Cambodia.  I was two years old, the youngest of 7 children, when we immigrated to the USA.  I grew up near Chicago and earned my Bachelor's Degree in Education and Spanish from Illinois State University. 

I am  thrilled to be a part of your child's education at OFS.  One of the reasons I am excited to live and teach in Singapore is that it will allow me to be close to my mother who spends most of the year in Cambodia. 

Your child's education is of the utmost importance to me, and keeping open communication with parents is a key part of their success.  Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any questions or concerns.  I look forward to a very successful year as your child's teacher.
