CHERS PARENTS,

This year I am going to teach French to your children and feel enthusiastic about it. Now that French lessons are well underway, I would like to let you know more about our classes so that you can follow your child’s progress.

Let me start by introducing myself. I have been living in Singapore for six years. I have been sharing my passion for the French culture and language for a few years in elementary school.

As a mother of two young children, I understand how difficult changes can be for them, and do my best to help them to adjust smoothly to their new environment.

The emphasis of the course will firstly be on oral expression, and secondly, to build a basic understanding of reading and writing skills in French.

French will be used as a matter of course and students will be encouraged to use basic classroom language from the beginning. The course will be extended to include progressive spelling and grammar exercises, songs, art activities, games and stories to familiarize the children with French culture and to increase their general confidence and ability with using French language.
