My name is Mrs. Jan Cox and I am from Melbourne, Australia. This is my seventh year at OFS - 3 years in grade 3 and this is now my fourth year in the Elementary Library. I have been teaching for over 20 years. The first 10 years of my career was as a Teacher Librarian. I then became a class teacher, teaching grades at various levels from year 1 to year 6. Two years ago I was given the opportunity to return to the library and rekindle my passion for books and the library in general. I am thoroughly enjoying my time as the Elementary Teacher Librarian here at OFS. I get to work with so many students and teachers across all grade levels. I enjoy creating an exciting atmosphere in the library for all students to learn in, to develop information literacy skills, library skills and to also develop a general love / appreciation for books.
