Dear Parents,

My name is Julie Blakeman and I am a Math Specialist here at OFS.  I have lived in the United States all of my life.  Although I have lived in Washington, D.C and Maryland, I consider Louisiana my home.  I graduated from Centenary College of Louisiana located in Shreveport with a B.S. in Elementary Education.  I worked for nine years in Caddo Parish as a Homebase teacher. 

Singapore is a wonderful adventure for me as this is the first time I have lived overseas.  I look forward to this year of discovery at OFS teaching and learning with the students. I encourage my students to ask questions, to take risks, and to have fun.  Please know that I am always available to meet with you should you have any concerns or comments you’d like to share.
