ESOL/SPP Summer School 2008
June 9 - July 4, 2008
Elementary School - 9.00am to 12.30pm
Middle & High School - 9.00am to 3.30pm
The summer break is fast approaching, and time has arrived once again to incorporate learning with fun!
The SPP/ESOL Summer School programme is primarily designed for the Elemeentary, Middle School, High School students who are interested in improving their English proficiency level. The programme is also highly recommended for students who are starting their academic year with us in August 2008, and want to get a headstart on English Language learning. The Summer School is an excellent way to meet and make new friends!
The courses are taught by qualified ESOL/English teachers at the Overseas Family School, and focus on developing the students' abilities in the four language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing.
Traditionally, on Friday, Middle and High School students are taken on excursions. These excursions usually include trips to the Zoo, the Bird Park and the Science Centre.
Lunch is available in the school canteen on a daily basis for Middle and High School students, but we recommend that they bring their own lunches (or extra pocket money) on Fridays as we take classes on outings every Friday.
Students are not required to wear OFS uniforms during the Summer Programme, although they may wear their regular uniforms if they wish to.
