Subscribing to OFS Calendar

By subscribing to our calendars, you can receive event schedules & updates automatically on your computers or mobile devices without the need to access OFS website.

The following programs are required to subscribe to OFS Calendar.

For Mac OS X Tiger & Leopard users.

Apple iCal
Bundled with Mac OS X

For Windows XP & Vista users.

Microsoft Outlook 2007
Part of Microsoft Office 2007 suite.

Mozilla Sunbird
Full featured calendar application. Download from here.

Only Microsoft Outlook 2007 and above are able to subscribe to remote calendar, such as OFS calendar.

If you only have Microsoft Outlook 2003 or older, it is recommended to download Mozilla Sunbird, a free open source calendar application.

 

For Mac OS X Tiger & Leopard users

Subscribing to OFS Calendar with Apple iCal

Step One
Choose the calendar you would like to subscribe to on the drop down menu located on the top right of the calendar page.

Step Two
It will automatically launch the iCal program and a dialog box will appear. Proceed with the Subscribe button.

Step Three
Fill in the details for your calendar. Leave the Subscribed to address as it is.
In the Auto-Refresh drop-down menu, you are able to choose how often you want the calendar to sync with OFS server.

Click the OK button and the calendar will appear on your calendar application.

You are also able to sync your calendar with your mobile devices such as iPhone or iPod Touch. Please consult your user manuals for the required procedures.

To unsubscribed, simply remove the calendar by right clicking on it and choose Delete.

 

For Windows XP & Vista Users

Subscribing to OFS Calendar with Microsoft Outlook 2007

Step One
Choose the calendar you would like to subscribe to on the drop down menu located on the top right of the calendar page.

 

Step Two
It will automatically launch Outlook 2007 and a dialog box will appear.
Click on Advanced button if you would like to customize the calendar preferences, otherwise click Yes and the calendar will be loaded.

You are also able to sync the calendar with your PDAs such as Windows Mobile & Palm mobile devices. Please consult your user manual for the required procedures.

To unsubscribed, simply delete the calendar.

Subscribing to OFS Calendar with Mozilla Sunbird

If you are using Internet Explorer browser, please click here.
Otherwise, please proceed with the guide below.

Step One
Choose the calendar you would like to subscribe to on the drop down menu located on the top right of the calendar page.

 

Step Two
A dialog box will pop up, click on the Choose button to assign an application for it.

Step Three
Look for the location of your Sunbird installation. By default, it is located in Program Files => Mozilla Sunbird.
Then choose the sunbird.exe and click the Open button.

Step Four
The Sunbird calendar application is now selected.
Tick the Remember my choice for webcal links below and click the OK button.

Step Five
You are now subscribed to OFS calendar.

You are also able to sync the calendar with your PDAs such as Windows Mobile & Palm mobile devices. Please consult your user manual for the required procedures.

To unsubscribed, simply delete the calendar.

 

For Mozilla Sunbird user who uses Internet Explorer browser.

Step One
Click on the Internet Explorer link below the calendar menu

Step Two
Highlight and copy the address of the calendar that you want to subscribe to.

Step Three
Open your Mozilla Sunbird application. Click File on the top menu and choose Subscribe to Remote Calendar...

Step Four
A dialog box will appear asking you to locate your calendar, choose On the Network.
Then give your calendar a name, choose any colors you like and click the Next button.

Step Five
Leave the Format as iCalendar (ICS). Paste the address you have copied earlier in the Location box. Click Next.

Step Six
You are now subscribed to OFS calendar.
