Dear Parents,

Welcome to you and to your children to the Grade 5 Study Preparation Program for the new school year.  The SPP1 students will be facing many changes and challenges, as they begin a new school in a new language.  My goal is to help your child with a smooth and happy transition to OFS and into English language learning.  This will be my first year at OFS, although I have had several years of experience teaching  in a variety of ESL settings.  I moved to Singapore two years ago with my husband and two children (ages 8 & 9) from Boise, Idaho, USA.  My husband and I have past experience living a working in Asia, but thi shas been our first overseas experience as a family. 

Living in Singapore has been a wonderful experience for our children, and I hope it will be for yours.
