I am Ashley Riffel from South Africa.  South Africa, home to the great Dr Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, spans an area of 1.2 million square kilometers and occupies the Southern most part of the African continent.  South Africa is a dynamic nation rich in natural wonders, wildlife and cultural heritage.  I come from the capital city namely Cape Town.  The city is nestled against the backdrop of the majestic Table Mountain, beautiful white sand shores of both the Atlantic and Indian oceans.

For the past year I've had the honour to be part of the dynamic and inspirational OFS family.  My responsibilities as a grade five teacher granted me the opportunity to be part of the transitional phase of young elementary students.  I have had the honour of seeing these students prosper into confident, enthusiastic, supportive and innovative children ready to take on the middle school challenges.  This acedemic year I look forward to meeting my new group of students eager to take on the challenges with exciting vigour.  I look forward to exciting, interesting and fun experiences that will result in lifetime memories of a FANTASTIC grand finale elementary phase.
