Middle School - Grade 6 to 10 Parent Workshop

We cordially invite all parents and guardians to attend a parent talk titled "Parent-Teen Communication & Parental Anxiety". The talk will be given by Dr. Glen Graves, who is a psychologist and former OFS parent with 20 years experience supporting children, families, and adults through communication, resilience-building, and anxiety management.

This talk aims to:

1. Explore how daily parent-teen interactions shape children's core beliefs
2. Provide practical strategies for communicating with your child in ways that build confidence, resilience, and calm
3. Support parents in understanding and managing parental anxiety

Parents will also have the opportunity to hear from and engage with:

1. Ms. Ines Palermo (Counsellor)
2. Ms. Marie Gould (Play Therapist)

Security Procedures: For security screening upon arrival and at all times while on campus, please wear your OFS security pass visibly above waist level. If you do not have your OFS security pass when arriving at school, please present a valid photo ID and a temporary visitor pass will be issued to you upon verification.

Safe Management Measures (SMMs): For precautionary purposes, please wear a mask when entering and visiting the School Health Center. Wearing a mask is optional everywhere else on campus.
