The High School has approximately 900 students and 100 teachers and administrators. OFS is an open entry school, where students and parents select the courses best suited to them. Our policy is that parents are the senior partner in these decisions. We encourage students to select the most challenging courses possible, including the full IB Diploma. Where this may not be appropriate for your child, individual IB courses are available.
Every High School student is also working from Grade 9 through Grade 12 to earn semester credits. These credits allow a student to graduate with a High School Diploma, accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (USA).
Thus, our IB Middle Years Program, Cambridge IGCSE examinations and IB Diploma prepare students for tertiary education in countries around the world.
During this journey, all students are helped to develop a balanced lifestyle: community service, clubs, sports, student leadership and the Arts all feature in the daily life of the High School. It is a dynamic and vibrant place, with students held to high academic and personal standards. We see our students as the leaders of tomorrow and look forward to working with you to educate your child in a true spirit of internationalism.
