The more students are exposed to MUN skills and practices the better they live the IBO Learner Profile. Approaches to Learning are supported by integrating MUN into the curriculum. From elementary to high school our students are strengthened through the authenticity of the experience. Mr. David Taylor is available for consultation and/or to conduct a workshop at your school with a view to MUN curriculum integration.

Our MUN integration to the grade 4 and grade 5 PYP Units of Inquiry was highly successful. This video provides a glimpse of the process for the grade 4 UOI "Sharing the Planet", from early research through to the closing conference.

Model United Nations provides clear supports and meaningful links to the three guiding themes of the MYP program: Holistic Learning, Intercultural Awareness, and Communication. This slide show expresses just some of the possibilities.

Conferences hosted by Overseas Family School include our high school conference – MUNOFS, and our middle years conference – MY-MUNOFS. We welcome participants from any school to attend. In support of MUN development we also offer direct support to schools wishing to start up an MUN club for any age level.
The happenings and excitement of our conferences is covered by our journalism club, a dedicated group of students who work tirelessly to produce daily a quality newspaper. Every conference participant receives their own copy, and we are proud to be able to share these with you here.
