Elementary School Sports Mornings (Semester 1 2019/2020)

Elementary School students had a chance to showcase the skills they learned this semester during their sports mornings.

Grade 1 students played fun cooperative games such as finding their way through an obstacle course and Team Clean Up where they practiced overhand and underhand throws.

Grade 2 students focused on cooperative games and Athletic events including relays and long jump.

Students in Grade 3 played invasion games and target games including Battleships and Beanbag Invasion.

Grade 4 students played invasion games such as Capture the Flag and Endball.

The students in Grade 5 participated in a mini-Olympics. They threw javelins, challenged themselves in high jump and sprinted their way to the finish line.

Students had fun with their friends alternating between the hot sun and the cool auditorium. Children practiced their Personal Goals by playing cooperatively, communicating with teammates and being principled.

Thanks to the parents who came out to support their children by watching and even participating in some of the events.
