OFS has just completed our 3-Day 12th Model United Nations at Overseas Family School (MUNOFS XII) conference over the recent weekend. This was a huge event in the life of the OFS community, involving 17 schools from Singapore. The conference began with a series of Youth Leadership Workshops linked to the Sustainable Development Goals on Friday evening. These included cybersecurity, corporate and social responsibility, human rights and the art of courtroom questioning to name a few. The organisation of the workshops and participant placement was run by Abigail Bilsland (Grade 10) and Esha Sharan (Grade 12). Both are to be congratulated for how smooth all workshops ran throughout the evening.

Saturday and Sunday saw students engage and debate with delegates from a variety of diverse "countries". I was most impressed by the delegates' mature and responsible approach throughout the weekend. The depth of research, both reasoned and reasonable arguments and discussions were of the highest quality. The Executive Committee members and Secretary-General Dev Natarajan are to be commended for their tireless efforts throughout the weekend.
