Congratulations to the OFS Class of 2021!
Monday 24 May was a whirlwind of 4 socially distanced graduation ceremonies, the first of which commenced at 9am and the last of which ended at 4pm!
Each event had its own unique set of speakers, adding character and meaning to the day. The teachers chosen to speak at each ceremony, Ms Trapti Trivedi, Mr. Geoffrey Dell, Ms Aida Blat Palacios, and Mr Barnaby King, shared their insights with the graduates. The student speakers, Samarth Gowda, Aisha Nadaraja, and the team of Lina Le Bendiksen and Ritika Awasthy, delivered messages that were thoughtful, funny, and heartfelt.
Additionally, a group of talented Grade 12 musicians created and shared a music video. The buoyant music and the happy photos from the graduates' many years at OFS evoked the intermingled feelings of cheer and nostalgia elemental to any graduation ceremony.
Altogether, although the form it took was a little different from that of previous years, the OFS graduation ceremony, as always, was filled with celebration of and pride in all our students' accomplishments!
