62nd National Inter-School Online Team Chess Championship

OFS celebrated a successful return to competitive chess by fielding 16 Teams and contesting all age groups in the 62 National Inter-School Online Team Chess Championship organized by the Singapore Chess Federation.

OFS' biggest trophy hunters was the Under-8 Chess Team comprising of Ashwath Kaushik, Abhigyan Jha, Miransh Vyas and Raghav Khemka. Right from the start, the team went head-to-head with Singapore’s best schools in the race for Gold and was rewarded with a fantastic second place in the end. The team’s silver medal was made even sweeter as Ashwath and Miransh received additional awards for being among the Top Scorers on Board 1 and 3.

All other OFS teams from Elementary, Middle School and High School showed an equal determination and focus and students can pride themselves on having completed a full-day, seven rounds long, Online Team Chess Championship.
