73rd National School Individual Online Chess Championship 2022
(13 - 17 March 2022)
Outstanding achievements by all 67 OFS students who competed in the online 73rd National School Individual Online Chess Championship 2022 from 13 to 17 March 2022. Our students earned an incredible 31 medals for Top-10 finishes in the different age-group categories for International Schools. Half of these medals were won by OFS Chess girls who competed in the age groups from Under 8 years to Under 14 years old. Topscorers for the girls were Riddhi Das and Aryana Hernando. For the boys, Ashwath Kaushik, Miransh Vyas and Shamyak Biswas in Elementary School, Heamish Sakthivel for Middle and Kunaal Sood for High School were among the best of their peers. All other OFS students showed an equal determination and can pride themselves on having completed a full-day, seven rounds long, Online Chess Championship against Singapore's Best.
