Netball OFS Tigers vs Australian International School

Netball took to the courts for the first match in more than two years! The 19U & 16U OFS Tigers Netball teams hosted the Australian International School "Sharks". After a nervous and frenetic start in the first quarter against a highly experienced well drilled and somewhat older opponent, our Tigers regrouped, re-positioned themselves and clawed their way back into the game. By the end of the 2nd quarter the Tigers were back in it, were gelling as a team, supportive of each other, making accurate passes, exciting interceptions, frequently finding the net and forcing their opponents into making errors. The Tigresses' work ethic and refusal to quit despite the stifling heat was inspiring and this new and young team under the expert guidance of Coach Healy and Coach Woollard look set to become a formidable force in the forthcoming league.
