63rd National Inter-School Team Chess Championship 2022
(3 - 6 September 2022)
During the 63rd National Inter-School Team Chess Championship from 3-6 September, 25 OFS teams competed against Singapore's best and achieved an amazing 11 team medals. Teams from OFS competed in both the Open and Girls categories, bringing home two gold, four silver, and five bronze medals in the International School Category. Special congratulations go out to Ashwath Kaushik, Aarav Sharma (3.04), Seher Sethi, Wang Mengze, Riddhi Riyansika Das, Heamish Kanha Sakthivel and Harshdeep Shandilya for achieving five or more points out of six games.
A big thanks to the Singapore Chess Federation for organising the event, which was held at the impressive Overseas Family School auditorium. We are extremely proud of all students who competed throughout the full-day competition that included six rounds of intense rapid chess. Thank you students for showing focus, stamina and our special OFS team spirit.
