High School Musical Soirée

The Musical Soirée was an intimate event that showcased some incredible talent from Grades 9-12. The evening began with a performance by the orchestra performing a piece composed by our very own Myra Singh (G11 music student). "Floating Alone" was a real treat and demonstrated that we not only have great performers amongst us but great composers. We were exposed to music from every genre you could imagine: folk, pop, traditional Chinese, Classical Music (Chopin, Bach and more), old school rock ballads, musical theatre and some singer-songwriters who performed their own numbers. We were also given a lesson on how to compose using Logic Pro by our very own Rohan Chakkarwar (G11 music student). It was a lovely evening filled with beautiful music and quite spectacular melodies and lyrical moments. Thank you to all the talented musicians who contributed to such a fabulous evening.
