Middle School Grade 7 Model United Nations IDU

During the Grade 7 Model United Nations conference, students learned about challenges that governments face in ensuring equitable access to finite resources. During their deliberations, students put forward solutions to ensure that everyone has access to food, water, health, technology, clean air, education and jobs. Their conference followed an interdisciplinary unit exploring demographic trends and comparative data between regions and within countries. MUN conferences provide a great way for students to learn about international relations and global issues while building research and debating skills.
