Middle School Grade 8 Model United Nations IDU

Our Grade 8 students delved into issues related to sustainability and globalization during their final Model United Nations conference in Middle School. The conference followed an interdisciplinary unit that delved into the inherent problems of a linear supply chain and the need for a more circular economy to protect people and the environment. Our students represented different countries and reflected on several perspectives when finding solutions to ensure our world is more sustainable. All Middle School students participate in one conference each academic year and build skills linked to research, communication and collaboration.
