Middle School Examinations are just one part of the ongoing IB MYP assessments. It also gives our students 'real life' practice and experience with stringent examination conditions expected at High School, especially for external examinations.
Respecting, understanding, and appreciating different cultures and beliefs is an important part of our curriculum. The Holiday Concert reflects this focus, as we celebrate a variety of festivals, holidays and traditions from around the world.

We would like to invite you to participate in a school-wide food collection in support of the local food banks managed by 'Food from the Heart', a local non-profit organisation committed to alleviating hunger through food distribution in Singapore. We will be holding a school-wide food collection for around two weeks in November 2025 in each school from Kindergarten to High School, as well as in the Administration building. Food can be brought in from Friday, 14 November 2025 through to Friday, 28 November 2025.

Kindergarten invites all parents to our Internationalism Celebration, a joyous event where we honor the rich intercultural diversity of our Kindergarten community. Students and parents are encouraged to come dressed in their national costumes or wear clothing that represents the colors of their countries or flags.

The Elementary School Graduation is our culminating event for our Grade 5 students as they complete their education at our Elementary School and prepare to join the Middle School in the next academic year.
The Kindergarten Graduation marks the completion of the student's years in Kindergarten. The celebration includes a presentation of certificates, a concert performed by the graduating K2 class which is then followed by class parties in the children's classrooms.
This prestigious event is always a highlight of the High School calendar. This is where students, families, teachers and staff get to celebrate our Grade 12s completion of high school studies and begin their transition to higher education and/or national service.

Our Grade 6 students will embark on an exciting educational journey to Bird Paradise, Singapore’s premier bird sanctuary. This immersive experience brings science and nature to life, offering students the chance to explore diverse avian habitats, observe rare and exotic bird species, and engage in hands-on learning through interactive exhibits and guided tours. The excursion supports our science and humanities curriculum, enhances environmental awareness, and inspires a deeper appreciation for wildlife conservation. It’s a day of discovery, adventure, and unforgettable memories!

High School examinations are just one part of the ongoing and multifaceted IB MYP/DP, Pre-IB and SPP assessments. Not only do these examinations give teachers an indication of student progress, but it also provides our students with an authentic experience of the stringent examination conditions for external examinations such as the IGCSE and IB Diploma.

Each year, Middle Students enjoy grade-wide MUN conferences following Interdisciplinary Units. Grade 6 students focus on the importance of culture and the role UNESCO plays in protecting world heritage. Grade 7 students look at how we can ensure equitable access to finite resources, while Grade 8 focuses on globalisation and sustainability in current linear supply chains.
The MUN conferences towards the end of these units see the students understand different perspectives while working together to find lasting solutions to complex global issues. The Grade 7 and 8 conferences take place in Quarter 3 and the Grade 6 conference takes place in Q4.
Our Global Concerts will showcase music and dancing from around the world.
The Art Exhibition will showcase our talented artists. The selected art pieces, connected to students IPC Units of Work, reflect a variety of art skills and use of media. You will see samples of the beautiful art work that our students have been creating over the course of the semester using different mediums to express themselves.

Unplugged is a unique event that gives students the opportunity to showcase their musical talents in a relaxed, acoustic setting. Performers take the stage to deliver unplugged performances, creating a calming atmosphere for both musicians and the audience. It’s a celebration of creativity, where students can express themselves through music while the audience relaxes and enjoys the soothing vibes. Whether it's singing, playing guitar, or showcasing other acoustic skills, Unplugged is a chance to appreciate the art of live performances.

Join us for authentic Muslim food and engaging handicraft activities, including earring making, door hangings, and henna tattoos.
The children will learn about the traditions and customs of the festival of Eid al-Fitr (Festival of Breaking the Fast), also known locally as Hari Raya Aidilfitri or Hari Raya Puasa, which marks the end of Ramadan and is an occasion celebrated by Muslims worldwide. We encourage the children to come to school dressed for the occasion.

Get ready to rock! The 2025 Battle of the Bands will feature the top high school rock bands competing for the title of Best OFS School Rock Band. Leading up to the event, selected bands will practice together, receive mentorship, and fine-tuning their performances for the big day. On the day of the competition, each band will perform three of their best songs in front of a panel of judges and a live audience. Event details will be shared on the High School Gazette and the OFS student learning portal.
Grade 9 parents/guardians are invited to an information evening to gain an understanding of the Personal Project and the journey your child/ward will go through (starting March 2025, finishing October, 2025).
The ES Lunchtime concerts give students an opportunity to showcase their talents. Students are invited to audition to perform at these concerts. Performers may play an instrument, sing or dance. Auditions take place a few weeks before the lunchtime concert.
The ES Parent Student Teacher Conferences will give parents and students an opportunity to meet with their child's teachers. It is a chance to visit the classrooms and for students to share their learning, as well as set goals for the remainder of the academic year.
In colour-coded teams of red, blue, yellow and green, the children will participate in different sports stations displaying their developing physical motor skills, balance and coordination.
Each year, OFS Middle School comes together to celebrate the arts—music, art, drama, and dance—during our annual MADD Week. This tradition is a wonderful opportunity to honor the creative talents that enrich our school. There is something for everyone and each day is filled with fun lunchtime activities relating to Music, Arts, Drama and Dance.

The Kindergarten will be celebrating Book Week from 17 February to 21 February 2024. The highlight of the Book Week celebrations will be the Book Character Parade. Students are encouraged to come to school dressed as their favourite storybook character.
Our theatre production of Macbeth brings Shakespeare's timeless work to life with a talented cast of students. Through powerful performances and captivating staging, the cast explores themes of ambition, fate, and conflict. The production showcases the hard work and dedication of our students, who have poured their creativity into every scene. Book Week 2025 will kick off with the theme of time travel. Let creativity take the reins as students explore and visualise new, imagined spaces and time-scapes crafted through the power of words.

There will be 3 day/2 night grade level camps for all Middle School students throughout the school year. These prove to be an invaluable experience for building social cohesion, moving beyond one's comfort zone and enjoying the opportunity of outdoor education. Students are encouraged to attend their respective camps.
The Kindergarten children will usher in the Lunar New Year by watching a Lion and dragon dance. They will learn about the traditions and customs linked to this festival. Students are encouraged to come to school dressed in red attire.

MS offers many fun creative clubs for students to enjoy. Clubs will run at lunch and after school. This is a great way to meet friends, explore your interests and have fun! Clubs will run from 4 February to 25 April. Parents can sign up from 15 January to 22 January (12:00noon) online. Join a club today!
The MUN Club is preparing for and building skills to attend MUN conferences throughout the year. We are excited to be able to offer a selection of students places at the centenary MUN conference at Tanglin Trust School (CENTMUN), a three-day event which promises to be a big celebration of students working together to solve global issues.
There are more exciting opportunities in Semester 2, and our school will send delegations to Stamford American International School in mid-January, and United World College South East Asia - East in mid-February. Finally, we have our own Middle School MUN Conference - MY-MUNOFS XV - which will be held 22-23 February and will see a high attendance from local international schools in Singapore and several international schools from all over Southeast Asia.

Middle School is an exciting celebration of linguistic diversity, this year it is themed around "The Little Prince" and its numerous translations representing all of our languages at school.
Throughout the week, students will participate in engaging activities, including readings of this beloved tale in various languages, inspiring writing exercises, and screenings of short films. The highlight of the week will be our Multicultural Dress Day, where students are encouraged to wear traditional attire reflecting their cultural backgrounds.

The Senior Dance for Grade 11 and Grade 12 students, themed City of Stars, is the perfect opportunity for students to have fun, connect with friends, and dress up in glamorous style.
